Do you Believe?

For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” (Rom.10.11)

There is a certainty with which your faith in God emboldens you even in difficult times that all hope seems lost. To believe is to have faith that what the Bible says about God is true and you stake your life on it. Those who have such convictions will not in anyway be disgraced. Though you may experience tough times but if you continue to hold up, you will not be disappointed. There is the faithfulness of God not to abandon those who put their trust in Him. And the truth is that, God can be trusted.

It remains to be said that your faith in God must be rooted long before challenges are thrown at you. Many people ignore the need to have a firm foundation when everything is rosy. The problem is that when trouble comes, they run helter skelter looking for help while they should be at peace, knowing that God is faithful and He will not let them down. Those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion that will not be moved when trouble comes. Do you believe?

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble (Ps.46.1).

There is the confidence in the power of God to shield us in the time of trouble. He is a refuge and strength to those who trust in Him. He is also very much available to help in trouble. Hallelujah! We can rest on His promises that He will do what He promised. He is not a man that He should lie. He won’t go back on the words He has spoken. Those who believe in Him will find help when they need it. Keep your hope alive. Amen.
