Isa.41.10 – Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Fear is the feeling of false experience that something imaginary will happen. It has debilitating effects if allowed to linger in the heart. Fear comes as a result of meditating on the wrong thoughts. Fear can put you in bondage.
Fear comes when there is a void in the heart or thoughts where unanswered questions are left roaming. If faith comes by hearing the word of God, fear also comes by hearing and meditating on the wrong words. The antidote to fear is to fill your heart with God’s word and focus on His promises.
Usually in life there are giants we confront daily. They come in the form of people, projects, assignments, needs and all that with intimidation but fear not! It is a choice not to be afraid. Know that the greater One is in you and He will help you. Fear not!
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”(John.16.33).
When next your heart is fearful, speak out loud to yourself, “the Lord is with me, I shall not fear. Though the earth be removed, the Lord will sustain me. For I am the apple of His eyes.” Amen.
Savour with Sola John.
